Alrighty. This is my first whack at doing something like this so bare with me.
 The Travelling Gnome Project Basically the idea is to send this little plastic gnome of mine out to deviants around the world. You can have fun with this by using this gnome as a prop to do humerous OR serious photography if you please. Along with the gnome will be a little journal where you can write down what you and the little guy did while he stayed at your place. The journal will be posted at the end of the project along with all the photographs. I'm THINKING about making a seperate account for the gnome himself. Any ideas are totally welcome. I'm just winging this. He's leaving home in December durring the Cadbury World Devmeet. I'm sure we'll have plenty of photos of him hanging out with all the deviants there.  The more people i get on the list the better i can organize where to send him first. Of course he'll go to the UK deviants first since we pretty much live close together. THen we'll go from there. Without knowing who is going to sign up i can't make much of a schedual yet. BUT i have till december. Lotsa time yet  The main things i'm worried about are.. * Someone getting lazy and refusing to return him. * The gnome getting lost in the mail. * The gnome getting mauled by someones pet. (he's pretty durable dropping him won't break him but i bet a dog could do some damage) I'm going to be sending him out to select deviants that i know. Probly quite a few people from #whores. Since i talk to them on a daily basis. I've already got a few on my list =UnderestimateMe =cei- (lizzie automatically voted him in since they're going to be living close soon) =intricate =bwaa My brother took the liberty of taking a few pictures of him around my moms house in the states. I'll post those as soon as i get around to getting them scanned. Give you an idea of what the little monster can get up to. As far as a name goes.. i have no clue what to name him. You guys can decide give me suggestions and i'll post a poll. |
