And it sucks.

Usually we would be seen at The Giffard Arms 2 night Halloween bash but of course all of you who give a crap have probly heard me babbling on about being jobless. So yeah no money to go out. I didn't even bother putting up any decorations. The closest I've gotten to any kind of Halloween tonight is bumping into a 9 year old vampire at the gas station.

But yeah I do have a job now, I'm starting on Monday.
So, this means I'll also be attending =ShaunJoyce's Birmingham Devmeet. Details can be located on his journal. It's gunna be wicked cuz we're gunna go to the German Markets and there should be some interesting stalls and I should be able to get some Christmas shopping done. Also take some good pictures to send home to my Mom.

Also since I have a job I can also make my planned trip to Hobby Craft to get some new pens/pencils/drawing pads. I know Hobby Craft isn't the cheapest place to go but I'm incredibly picky when it comes to art materials or stationary in general.
When I bought a diary/date book I HAD to get one from WHSmiths and NOT the pound store. I also had to buy a pack of brand new Bic pens to write in the diary with. I couldn't stomach writing in a brand new fancy diary with an old pen.

I know I'm wierd but you love me.

WELL! I think I've successfully gotten back into dark art. I've been digging through the old sketch books finding half finished drawings and I've been trying to finish them. I think I totally failed with the Lilly drawing to be honest. I tried too hard to make it really colorfull and it just ended up looking like a mess really.
But i do recall having a small sketch book that I used to use at work, do you think i could find it? nooooo way. It had an almost finished drawing similar to my comic hell drawings. I really wish i could find it. I tore the house apart last night looking for it with no luck. Really frustrates me. I love that sketch book as well.
I think when I start drawing again I'm gunna make a trip to Hobby Craft and spend like £50 on new drawing gear and like.. take care of it this time.


Oh yeah I finally sold a print to someone who wasn't a friend or my Mom! It took me 3 days to clear the message from my inbox cuz I was too happy looking at the message. I only got a little profit from it but it was enough to buy me a 3 month sub right when the one $zilla774 got me was due to expire. Hows that for luck?

Graham got me a power cord for my scanner so new stuff is on the way!

I have no idea how to pimp out my journal! I see all these awesome layouts and stuff but I don't know how the heck to do stuff like that!

Oh well, I'm gunna get scanning out of the way then I'll work on pimping my journal.

I might return.

I'm not all like OMG DEVIANTART SUCKS, thats not the reason for my absence. It's just life strangling the arts out of me.

Seriously I've managed to finish ONE drawing since I've been gone. It's that bad.


We'll see what happens, Graham says we can afford a subscription at the end of the month. Theres quite a few new features on dA that I haven't seen/used before so I might just dive into it again. I might not but I'm not going to be completely gone.

NEVERMIND!! $zilla774 got me a subscription! Gunna go do some scanning now.
